Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 2-3 Green chillies Slit into halves
  • 1 cup Tomatoes Chopped
  • 500 g Lauki / Bottle Gourd Peeled and cut into small pieces
  • Salt To taste
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Fresh coriander Chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a pressure cooker.
  2. Once the ghee is hot, add cumin seeds and let them crackle for a few seconds.
  3. Add green chili and tomato and cook for a minute.
  4. Add lauki, salt and a cup of water and pressure cook till lauki is done.
  5. Remove the pressure cooker from heat and let the pressure release.
  6. Remove the lid of the pressure cooker.
  7. Add lemon juice and coriander and mix well.
  8. Serve hot with paratha.
