I have eaten Starfruit for so many times during childhood that I have lost the count. Making nutritious Salads from fruits has been my predilection so when it comes to Star Fruit, I couldn't have made an exception. After getting tossed along with almond flakes, salad greens and red radish, the actual flavours of Star Fruit got a tasty spin!
As I am pretty eager about using various kinds of dressing such as Asian Orange Ginger Salad Dressing, Honey and Mustard Yogurt Salad Dressing, Balsamic Vinaigrette Salad Dressing, I created a perfect dressing for Starfruit Almond Salad as well!
To keep things healthy and fresh, I used extra virgin olive oil, along with honey, red wine vinegar and freshly cracked pepper for the dressing. As Starfruit had this sweetish tangy taste, it complemented all the other flavours of Starfruit Almond Salad in a beautiful way.
