Ingredients
- 400 g Cauliflower Cut into small florets
For the Batter
- 1 and 1/2 cup All purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp Baking powder
- 1 tsp Red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper powder
- Salt to taste
- 200 ml Ice cold beer
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Wash the cauliflower.
- Heat water in a large pot and once the water comes to a boil, add the florets in the boiling water for a few seconds.
- Drain and run the florets under cold water.
- Drain and keep aside.
- Mix all purpose flour, baking powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garlic powder, black pepper powder and salt in a bowl.
- Add beer to make a thick batter.
- Keep the batter aside for 20 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Dip the florets in the batter and deep fry on medium heat until golden brown.
- Serve hot with coriander chutney.
