Basic things to remember while Packing For Taiwan....I have travelled quite a lot in India and around the world but that has always been with family. When we travel, my only job is to explore the place and make an itinerary and rest is taken care by the husband. So when I got an invite to visit Taiwan from Taiwan Tourism bureau, I was a little skeptical at first with a few butterflies in my stomach but with the way our agency was handling the entire thing, I got my confidence back very soon and was ready and excited for the travel. We were a group of 11 people from different fields and genre with only thing common between us was the digital media profile, all of us were related to digital platform in some way or the other.
Now the only concern was to finish up the backlog of work as I was going to be out for almost 9 days. But this also meant a very rushed up packing for the trip. The team had already sent us the mail on important things to pack while travelling and that helped a long way. Apart from that, only a few personal things were left to stow into the bag. And I anyways wanted to travel lighter and bring back stuff from taiwan, so kept bare minimum things from my side.
Taiwan is a beautiful island country situated southeast of the Asia mainland. Due to the constant motion of tectonic plates over millions of years, a great collection of landforms have been carved out of the Taiwan landscape such as mountains, hills, plains, basins, valleys making it a perfect place to experience all the natural forms at one go. Temperature in Taiwan is usually moderate with a little soaring in summers but the winters are usually pleasant. So it's not really a challenge to pack for cloths while travelling to taiwan.

Here are a few Basic things to remember while Packing For Taiwan.
Visa - Visa is required for all Indian nationals, while you can get an online authorization if you have a valid visa to major western countries. Check the visa requirements online on the official website of Taiwan Government.
Currency - Taiwan uses New Taiwan Dollar (NTD) which at the time comes at around 2.1INR. I feel its best to carry some USD cash (if NTD is not available) along with multi currency cards given by various banks as they are safe and convenient.
Internet / Connectivity - It is pretty essential to keep in touch with your family and social circles over the internet, specially for a person like me. There are many websites which give small mobile routers with unlimited internet access. These can be purchased online, collected and dropped at airport and various other locations in Taiwan and seem pretty affordable.
Insurance - Travel insurance is always recommended. It gives me peace of mind when I travel so I’ve already purchased mine
